Beginning 2019, The Dance for Healing Project joined healthcare partners to serve youth in recovery at Los Angeles hospital pediatric units. This rewarding experience for both facilitators and patients engages children of all ages to learn healing through movement and optimism. This program has helped children battling a range of illnesses including cancer and orthopedic challenges.

Field Trips! 

2019 - Stay tuned as we prepare to take our most thriving young ballerinas from Watts, CA to see professional dancers from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater this Spring April 3-7. In 2018 our young mentees practiced and performed in front of their family, friends, and community. We will continue to honor their desire to keep dancing. The features that make mentorship meaningful are consistency, exposure, trust and connection. WE STAY, WE KEEP OUR WORD.

2018 - We are the first to bring LA County Probation boys and girls residing at Dorothy Kirby Camp Youth to see the COMPLEXIONS CONTEMPORARY BALLET! 

After 12 weeks of practice and training, the Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall boys and girls performed for their parents and staff.

We have classes every Thursday for the Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall (boys).
