ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
The Dance for Healing Project is much more than a traditional program; it's a movement that's been created over time through intense observation, credible research, and patient outcomes. We encourage trauma recovery through rhythm and therapeutic wellness.
We are grateful for the opportunity to take our young thriving mentees from Watts, CA to see the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater performance at LA's Dorothy Chandler Pavillion Spring 2019! It will be their first Alvin Ailey experience and memory they will never forget!
The Arts for Incarcerated Youth Network (AIYN) is an interdisciplinary collaborative that provides exceptional arts programming in order to build resiliency and wellness, eliminate recidivism, and transform the juvenile justice system.
Other partners include Women's Re-entry focused organizations in Los Angeles, family homeless shelters, LA County Probation Department, Los Angeles Unified School District, Hospitals, and Housing Authority communities.
